On April 17, 2010, ZLATA blossomed in the heart of the city together with nature and fruit trees. The renovated shopping center has become a decoration of the central part of the city. This project was named "PLAZA Public Space" and has been flourishing and continuing to work ever since. The creative team of MOST had the opportunity to develop a design project of the premises for the Zlata Plaza shopping center team. The modern office is an environment where employees spend most of the day, and therefore need not only comfort, but also motivation to stay in this place during the working day.
Office space and everything that surrounds you at work has a significant impact on work productivity. After talking with the customer, we determined the important priorities of the team, the visual component and what the dream office should be for employees. The management company of the mall includes the following departments: engineering, leasing, marketing, accounting, cleaning, security service, dispatchers, legal department. Everyone cheers and works for a common idea. The existing premises needed a new breath, cosmetic repairs and adaptation to the needs of the customer.
Shopping center Zlata Plaza is a company whose mission is to create a modern, comfortable, safe environment for customers, changing their lives for the better. This is possible if the team will create a product in conditions where you want to be, spend your time and consider that the office is one of the advantages of working here. An important task for the MOST workshop was to create a space where productivity, engagement and efficiency will increase thanks to proper working conditions. The company's values are responsibility, efficiency, care for people and the environment, development and innovation. The company has its own corporate culture, and therefore every employee had the opportunity to take a direct part in discussing the future look of the office. Thanks to the questionnaires that were used during the discussion, everyone could express their opinion and vision of the future space. Thus, a decision was made to create a new design environment for employees, using the entire available area, namely 230.40 square meters.
There is no universal spatial planning — everything depends on the direction of the company and the specifics of the business. However, more organizations are moving from closed office spaces to common open spaces. In our case, the team agreed that the redesign would take place with almost no architectural changes.
The visual component of Zlata Plaza is the concept of the image of the golden-haired girl Zlata. The use of natural colors and materials, warm lighting, cozy textiles, all this is about a safe environment and a visual image that is read thanks to a well-thought-out design. It was important to refresh the office with new equipment and functionality, adapt it to the needs of employees and get rid of excess. We kept the existing state of the corridor as the main space along which the different departments are strung, and we also returned to the office structure, dividing it into workspaces that correspond to each position.
The management company of the Zlata Plaza shopping center is the main client of the company. The use of modern, energy-efficient equipment and technologies in the office is one of the important stages for continuous development. Thanks to the new constructions of light on the ceiling in the form of suspended contour led lamps, which the masters painted in white, following the design, the office will be filled with light, which is important for the efficiency of the workers. Also, additional lighting of workplaces with LED lamps installed in LED niches will increase productivity. For coziness and comfort, carpets were laid in the offices, and textiles were used in the form of massive curtains and tulle. But along the corridor and in the bathroom, tiles were laid on the floor for more convenient use. A white, bright bathroom with copper fittings inside also matches the entire design of the office. In order to preserve the zoning between microgroups and take into account the characteristics of each employee, it was decided to beat the glass structures with mounted gray strips on them. And also, so that the space is perceived more easily, without unnecessary load, preference was given to solid, profileless partitions. Light, natural natural tones, new comfortable furniture and modern appliances, air conditioners, ventilation, a library, preserved motivational inscriptions on the walls, a meeting room for interaction and a separate place for calls in the form of a blue phone booth, where you can retire to talk and not disturb colleagues . All this tells us the story of Zlata Home, a working space in the form of a home, where we get to know a friendly team, the corporate culture of the team, where everyone is rooting for one common idea.
