UNIT 5

Introduction

The environment in which a person lives plays an important role in maintaining his health and achieving mental harmony. In our projects, we try to use a comprehensive approach to the formation of a quality environment in which architecture and landscaping harmoniously combine and coexist. A well-equipped outbuilding area makes housing more attractive, and also becomes an actual request from potential buyers. In this case, we will talk about another project of another UNIT, which is a continuation of the concept of a residential complex that we set earlier.

Task

We received a plot on which the construction of 3 linear residential buildings was completed. The plot itself for development is elongated in the square and has relief differences. Our task was to offer a comprehensive solution for the improvement of the territory and the external design of the facades, creating a new composition of already existing newly built buildings. At the same time, it was necessary to take into account the features of the site.

Architectural solution of facades

Architectural decisions of buildings have a significant impact on people. Visual appearance and aesthetics, as well as integration with the environment - this is a comprehensive approach of architects, urban planners, designers, who work on the comfort and general well-being of residents. When developing the project UNIT 5 - 6, we continued the general concept and composition of the facades, which was developed by our team for the previous units UNIT 1 - 2
In the design, the method of vertical and horizontal division was used in order to avoid large monolithic planes of the facades. These decisions are related to the spatial structure of buildings and their perception. To choose the colors of the facade, our architects made a lot of "decorations" to choose the most suitable for the concept. Units UNIT 5 - 6 occupy the central part of the complex and are located near the kindergarten. Therefore, white color was used as a basis, and not black as in UNIT 1 - 2. In general, the complex looks dynamic and compositionally complete.

Project solutions

Design solutions for residential areas include the planning and organization of the space around the houses, as well as the choice of materials and styles for landscape design. The main goal of such solutions is to create a comfortable and attractive environment for residents and visitors. What did we take into account when designing? The most important thing is the planning of the general space and the optimal organization of all zones. As the site is elongated in the plan, a smooth linear path was designed, which unites the entire territory, smoothly curves around the terrain and on which the entrances to the sections and rest areas are strung. The inner courtyard, which is formed around this path, is primarily oriented towards the pedestrian courtyard and, like the rest of the walkways, is paved with cobblestones. Important attention in our projects is given to barrier-free solutions, so entrances to buildings and transitions are arranged without obstacles and stairs.

Children's play areas and a workout

In the central part of the yard there is a children's area, a universal field and a workout area. The playground is equipped with soft, natural screening paving for the safety of children, and for the development of creativity and physical activity - a non-standard lasagna with integrated swings, a rope, a net and metal elements of descents for training balance, which correspond to different age groups and interests of children. Also for the little ones there is a sandbox and a nest swing (which has already become our favorite for children and adults). Benches are provided for parents to rest. The sports area is separate, there we have placed a playground for physical education with horizontal bars, bars, a ladder and other simulators. And the most interesting thing in this yard is the universal field, located in the middle of the yard, for playing football and basketball.

Landscaping

High-quality landscaping is important for landscaping. Selection of plants, creation of flower beds and other elements that improve the microclimate and are aesthetically attractive. The presence of trees, bushes, lawns visually beautifies the territory, provides natural shade, improves air quality and creates favorable conditions for recreation. We are glad that the customer implemented most of the landscaping solutions in this project. In addition, good planting material was selected. Trees are provided, which over time, as they grow, will form cozy squares at the entrances to the yard. Decorative bushes, planted as a screen to create a shade and fence off the apartments on the first floor. Closer to the central part of the yard are flower gardens, where perennial flowers and cereals have appeared. The peak of their decorativeness is from June to October, and in winter they can remain dry. At the moment, they are very small, but one season will pass and the perennials will delight the eyes of the residents. The plot of the yard itself has relief differences. Paths smoothly go around these differences and form a landscape that gives the yard a landscape.

Universal field

The peculiarity of this yard, (since it is central) within the boundaries of the surrounding buildings, is a "universal field" that is oriented to the use, first of all, of residents. The covering of the field is shock-absorbing rubber, and the color range corresponds to the general style of the surrounding facades. Also, there are benches on the field for spectators to sit. The project provided that the field will be used for football and basketball, where children, teenagers and adults can play. Currently, there are only racks for playing basketball.

Yard without cars

Plots of new UNIT 5 - 6 have logical pedestrian connections with the surrounding buildings. The yard itself is oriented primarily to pedestrians and is intended for residents to relax. Bicycle racks are installed near each section of entrances for the possibility of temporary bicycle parking. Transit traffic of cars in the yard is not provided. However, there is a possibility of delivery of goods and access of emergency services vehicles if necessary. Parking is outside the yard and oriented along the existing driveways. For the possibility of organizing a larger number of parking spaces, a retaining wall was calculated and designed, which holds the slope on which the parking spaces are arranged.

Conclusion

We try to take into account all the necessary landscaping elements in the yard projects. These are green areas, recreation and entertainment for children, parking for cars and security. In the courtyard of UNIT 5 - 6, there are high-quality children's and sports grounds, a new design of facades, a universal field, comfortable benches, bike racks and a lot of greenery around. As well as harmoniously combined aesthetics, functionality and conveniences for residents. A wonderful solution was the "yard without cars", where children can play safely, and parking was moved outside the yard, along the driveways.
